I was born in a city by the sea, a place in the beautiful Mediterranean country called Cyprus, where the Goddess of love Aphrodite is believed to have emerged out of the waves. So, by nature, I have been nurtured to love the peace and tranquility that the wide horizon and broad open spaces with the calm sea offers to people.

Throughout the years, my work has developed from very traditional art into various stages that have guided me to my present way of artistic expression. My work is mainly focusing on landscapes, seascapes, people and the environment.

With the light and bright colours of the country that inspired my traditional heritage, as well as the country that now I call home, I am always looking ahead ‘for brighter days’. My thoughts evolve around the safety of our planet, the ever threatened environment and for peace in the world.

In my latest works, some mediums are used that link my traditional style with today’s trends, and the ideas, as always, are derived from nature.
